This new 2026 Cummins 230 kW standby diesel generator set, model DSHAD, is a compact, high-performance power solution designed for commercial and industrial backup applications. Powered by a Cummins QSL9-G2 NR3 diesel engine producing 364 HP at 1800 RPM, this unit delivers 230 kW standby / 209 kW prime power at 120/208V, with 12-lead reconnectability for additional voltage configurations. The generator features a PMG permanent magnet generator, PowerCommand 2.3 digital control panel, and an 800-amp main-line circuit breaker for reliable operation and precise system monitoring. Housed in a weather-protective enclosure, the package includes a 336-gallon UL 142 sub-base fuel tank with secondary containment, a 50°C / 122°F rated cooling system, and is UL 2200 listed. This zero-hour unit ships FOB Waukesha, WI, carries a Cummins 2-year / 1,000-hour limited warranty, and is ideal for facilities requiring dependable, code-compliant standby power.
